I put the meter on and used a bit of metal ..

The Neck is In Phase

The Humbucker is out of Phase....

According to his little test ..

However, knowing they just have to be In Phase with each other to sound anatomically correct... The Neck wires is getting flipped

when was a teen in Vegas a tech told me yeah you just watch the kick direction...analog meters...

polarity is just a compass away and have always had at least one since was a kid...and is just a n/s marked magnet...

point is I had no excuse I just forgot to check polarity at the least...and have had my old (late 80's?) Micronta 22-195 auto ranging meter since was new...but yep have forgot to check..

I usually don't have to check, black goes to ground, hits wire to the 5-way...

But the setup is a trip, all the pickup wires are on the switch, one hit wire off the switch to the volume, one off to ground, and a couple jumpers between the lugs

But it offers some tasty tones

And the Guitar Madness "Spirit of '76" humbucker is got some kick, but pairs well with the Guitar Madness "Texas" Single Coil

I think it was a good Resto-mod.

I have a Brass nut to fit on it, but this one is working, so I am going to run with it for now.

The 5-way on 2 pickups has some interesting tones
