I'm glad that Les Paul shaped guitars and I have never been a good match...because that Bengal Burst (red) one looks very cool, and would be on its way to my house otherwise.

I just ordered the Widow Black Burst as well! Thanks Eddie.

Loved your video about it. What a deal.

Mine arrived today. Played it a little bit. I gotta tell you ... don't listen to any of the "experts", for $199, there's nothing better. Not FF, not HB, not Grote, not any of the Asian upstarts. This is the best $199 guitar I've ever played.

I played it back to back with my $239 FireFly Bullseye ... the FF isn't even close. The FF falls way short and isn't even in the same ballpark. I find it really amusing when people on the FF forums state that their $200 FF's play better than a $2000 Gibson. Man ... my $239 FFSP doesn't even play better than a $199 Mitchell. It's almost a bad joke.

I'm thinking of snagging a red one now. But I have too many of the same guitars. It's almost like when I go to restaurants and order the same plates. I need to try something new. But this $199 guitar slays.

Brand new out of the box. No blems. Not too bad of a set up. String height was good. Minor adjustment to the intonation. Sounds really good. Did you get yours yet?

Is this the 18th or 19th guitar this month 😁

I lost count. I definitely OD'd badly. But sold two cheapos today. Went straight to the ATM and paid down the credit card. The Mitchell and half the Explorer are now paid for. :)

Depends ... but not as keepers.

I could be wrong, or misremembering, but I think these have been labeled restock since they launched. Not sure what that means in MF world, but I have never seen them listed normally for sale, only with the restock label.

I like my MS450, but the pickups are a little microphonic.

Yes, they were sold as Re-stock. I don't know what that means. But mine was brand new. Pups are decent. Not microphonic. Much better pups than found on my FF Bullseye.

I got into it with someone on the FF forum. He stated his FFSP was on par with an Epiphone. I replied that the FF isn't even on par with my $199 Mitchell.

He called me a cork sniffer and wanted to know why I felt the need to demean certain instruments.

I didn't realize comparing a FF to a $199 Mitchell was sniffing corks. I'm also not delusional enough to believe my $200 FF with microphonic pups, plywood body, cheap electronics, and bunk tuners can compare with a $899 Epiphone.

This $199 Mitchell is the best guitar in the sub-$200 range ... hands down.

I was just on the MF page. They have the guitar in four colors selling at $399.99, and then the same four colors selling as restocks for $199.99. I suppose you could spend the extra 200 to get one that isn't a restock, but I wouldn't.

Not sure what the re-stock means but mine was brand new and blemish free.

I'm tempted to grab a red one now. It's probably the best budget LP that I have right now.

My $199 Mitchell plays just as good as a $399 Mitchell !!!

Yeah it's terrible to see those who buy these for $ 189 ...... and immediately put them on FBM or Reverb for 3 times what they paid .... claiming they are way above all other "budget " ( Epiphone , Grote , Squier ) guitars . Several FF "Bullseye " LP 's listed for $600 - 700 recently .

I guess if the demand is there. The market sets the value. If no one buys at that price, then we know. But looking at the sold Bullseyes, there are only three:

FF.JPG

$395 was the highest priced sale. That one also had a set of EMG 81/85's installed, so honestly, that's a great price for the guitar. The others are only slightly above what they paid and the $299.73 probably lost money because it was $260 shipped from FF and Reverb adds on 10% fees.

Did yours arrive yet?

This really is miles above a FF. Not even close. This is absolutely the best $199 guitar I've ever played.

I'm thinking of getting a red one (before they sell out), but money's tight at the moment.

What's a man to do ???
