I want someone to build me a small empty Head that can hold like 3 pedals and have access to the knobs on them still. That would be sick

Had a Halfback 212 C90/EVM12L that my Solo 50 sat upon… but I do not gig nor does my son…just needed to much volume to sound good… so long ago sold it to help pay for a car(Mustang)…for a good while now the Single Rec sits atop a Peavey Butcher cab G12K85s crossed with Emi V12s…I think it looks just fine and needs only medium vol to sound good…

My son is thinking of converting his 6505+ 112 into a head and 112 cab… it does sound great running as a 3x12 with the home built MDF shelved slant back oversized 212 loaded with Sheffield 1230s providing quick reactive mids/highs to the tight hit you in the chest bottom of stock Sheffield 1200 in the combo…

To me it does have a bit of magic to the sound compared to running it thru the Butcher 412 cab… he does agree but says the bare mdf looks to cheesy and the cab takes up to much room…and it does sound very good thru the Butcher cab… he already pulled the 1230’s and put the cab in storage… I do agree that it would look right/better converted to a head and 112 cab… would look right at home on the Butcher cab also…

his buds did give him a hard time about his cheesy 212 till they heard it in the old days… but he say’s it is mostly about just not enough space nowadays…

Meh.....who cares. I prefer great value and sound. A matching cab sold for $250. I bought two of these Ampeg 1x12 cabs with V30s for less than $100 ea new.
