Joe Strummer was known as a humble and nice man of the people. A guy from a band who let fans in through the back door or the dressing room window. A guy who had the Strummerville bonfire hangouts at Glastonbury Festival where everyone was welcome. I don't think he would dig a signature model Tele with his name on it going for $20k. I already dont love signature models and this only reinforces that.

I think there would be a bit of anger a reaction and perhaps an adventure to "liberate" these with him handing them to whom he deemed fit(assuming a few are built). Abbie Hoffman style.
