Help! Which tremolo bar fits my newer jags and Jazzmasters? And where do I get them?

If you read my post I stated Fender Classic Player and Squier are both 5mm. I never said Fender AVRI. Found the Fender Repalcement.

That one with the red loktite dot on the underside is the Fender AV/AVRI unit. An import 5mm arm won’t work for that one, you need the AVRI bar that has a little notched section in the end.

The MIM/MIJ Fender & Squier arms are 5mm import arms that just have a plain smooth tip. The AVRI one is the only one with this notched area on the tip.

I have purchased them from eBay sellers but only Genuine Fender arms....aftermarket arms may or may not fit depending on how accurate the sellers description is...

Thank you! So I have an arm coming that won’t fit but on the bright side, I have the better of the two trem units! I guess that’s a win in the end.

I posted this in the thread on my Jazzmaster, but it’s good info for this thread as well.

I have a tremolo on my CV Jazzmaster that has been replaced. It has the Fender logo on the face of it and and a dab of red Loctite on the underside of the lock button. Thank you to @ericb7799 for providing the info that identifies this as a Fender AVRI tremolo.
