I have a fender enforcer in the bridge of my american deluxe. Not a huge fan of the SCN single coils, but I like the humbucker. It's definitely hot. It has fender-esque characteristics and nicely goes with the spanky single coils.

I appreciate the review. I am reeeeally thinking about buying one, you've made it a bit easier.

Me neither. So what would YOU DO??

1) Go with aged white stuff, such as the enforcer pickup and an aged white cover for the JM PUP, aged white switch tip, chrome knobs and chrome humbucker surround.

2) Aged white bucker, JM PUP cover, black ring, black knobs, black tip.

I kinda like #1 better....I kinda wanna kill off the black all together if I can...

For me the black knobs really work with the chrome piece that you got on the marauder. Whenever guitars have those chrome (pickguardy) bits, black knobs suit it perfectly - thinking of jags, mustangs, etc.

I like the idea of the lighter/aged white pickup covers and humbucker with chrome ring, but keeping the knobs as is.

That's one I hadn't thought of! Right now I have a set of telecaster knobs on it and it looks pretty cool. Kind of old fashioned. I hope that if/when I do this, I achieve an "older fashioned" look...
