Difficulty changing “like” emoji

I’m using an iPad or iPhone. I often want to use that for other than a simple like and rather than replying making unnecessary chatter. I end up just changing it from like, to removing my like, back and forth. It’s just hard finding the right spot to make a different one.

I have had many emoji's fail? I have to go delete it and then I can Post? It's been sporatic lately and maybe getting better?

yup, like button change is temperamental. Sometimes it's easier to press and hold, copy link option shows up, cancel that and the reaction list stays up. At least, on my android phone and tablet. Tablet is a bit easier since I can hover with the s-pen.

Well, the "Cool" emoji won't allow the post to publish, but others will. It's possible some emojis are corrupted.

Oh well . . .

And, some edits are being reverted when the post is published. Further strangeness.

not me, I play on being burned, converted to data, and spread all over this forum

oh, wrong kind of plot? well ..

I haven't had in-context emoji issues, just the quick-like buttons are tough to select sometimes.
