What neck and radius do you play best with?

I've never had to choose any particular neck radius because none have bothered me. I do prefer a smaller neck however.
I agree, I'm more a case of not disliking any radii more curved than 9.5", but I do like flatter better for arpeggios, bends n shreds, but like the slightly rounder radii for chording. That's why I came to realize that compound radius is the way to go for me. I get slightly more rounder frets at the nut end (10-14", @12" as best compromise) and flatter frets at the heel (14-Flat", with 16-18" being best for me).

Ok, just realized on rereading what I said above that there IS one radii type I do disliked: the 7.5" vintage Fender radius and anything under 9.5", altho 9.5" itself is pushing it for me. If it wasn't for the fact that one of my first electrics is 9.5" I probably would've said anything under 10" would be a NOPE!

I still find my 2018 Affinity Strat board ( 9.5" radius ) to be my favorite, it just feels like home. The whole guitar just feels right, irregardless of the sub 41mm nut or the so called medium jumbo frets that are the flattest frets I own. My Affinity Strat just feels right, and is still my #1. My Epi and Mitchell 12" radius boards feel good, too. But my Affinity is perfect...

YMMV

Ok, did some researching and found out the fretboard radius is 16". Still havent found the profile info yet.

Source of info:
Wow 25 inch scale length. I also noticed my neck looks like several peices of mahogany not maple...but the ice cream has real strawberries lol 20220513_225905.jpg 20220512_224125.jpg 20220512_224115.jpg 20220512_224041.jpg
