Although I promised myself that I wasn't gonna buy any more guitars this year before buying the black-on-black Affinity Tele HH a few months ago, this is my birthday week and I saw a deal on a sunburst Classic Vibe Baritone Custom Telecaster (used but listed as "mint") for $299 (looking around, most places have them new for $469 or $499) with free shipping.
Always sorta wanted a baritone. I'm excited to play "Rock Lobster" and the theme from Twin Peaks on it.
I also have a tortoiseshell pickguard to throw on it so it'll match my VM Jazzmaster and CV Jaguar and Bass VI. I think with the binding and the tort it'll look rad.

Funny. I came here to post this very thing - a MIM Fender Telecaster Custom is on the radar for a Black Friday or Year End kill shot.
Secondarily is a Harely Benton Jazzmaster knock off. I bought their electric 12 string Rickenbacker clone and the quality is outstanding.

That's the amazing part about this forum, we all play different styles guitars and genre of music and we welcome them all.
I won't buy another Squier unless its a Pro Tone or possibly a MIJ (emphasis on possibly).

I was really keen on the new 40th anniversary Strat, but then I read a post over at ST from Lonn with regard to the bound neck being a dealbreaker, I think I agree with him. The more I look at it, the less I want it, so back to seeking a CV with Rosewood fretboard.
This will be perfect for learning to do a set up. Can anyone tell me the thread size for the wammy. It came with the arm installed but was cross threaed a bit and I want to chase it with correct tap. Tia

I have fallen off the wagon and bought the Contemporary Jaguar while waiting for the Affinity Jazzmaster to arrive.That makes TWO over my limit.
