She's a musical treasure, and a wonderful writer and interpreter of songs. She sings without embellishment or pretense. Runaway Train is one of my favorites. Here's a recent take with husband John Leventhal and a much older ACL performance with Steuart Smith. I've listened to that one dozens of times. I was listening to her The River & The Thread album while washing dishes last week. Long may she run.

I was at a little informal camping get togther of 50 or so and some of the friends were musicians who played a show every night.
The second song one night was this one which I hadn't heard since it was released back in the day. What a great song!

When Rosanne released King's Record Shop, with Stewart Smith, it changed my musical direction 180 degrees. That was the album that taught me to respect the power of the Strat, in the right hands.
Steuart is an amazing player, IMO. Tasteful work at all times.
