Pictures are unclear. No direct shot of the serial number or the head stock.

Does this look like the real deal ?

Maybe a Performer Series.
Performer has a six screw bridge, not a two point. And that has the old Am Std. block saddles. Fender went back to the vintage style bent steel saddles quite a few years ago. I'd have to see more pics to figure out what it is.

There was a limited edition Am Special Walnut in that color, but it had a six screw bridge with bent steel saddles. The Deluxe and Elite (as well as Std. and Pro) all had small headstocks. That definitely looks like a Special/Performer neck. I suppose it could possibly be an Am Std., Deluxe, or Elite body with a Special or Performer neck.

The Deluxe and Elite had those block saddles, but it's easy to change saddles. It could even be a Player body with a Special or Performer neck.

It's not right. There's never been an American made model with two point bridge with block saddles and a large headstock. All the MIA Strats with that large headstock have six screw bridges with bent steel saddles. I think it must be the body from one model and the neck from another, unless the body was modified and the six screw bridge was removed and holes made for the studs for a USA two point bridge.

Might be a parts caster, would ask for more pics and the serial number. I just haven’t seen a 2 point trem on the big headstock. You could just offer him $450.😂👍🏼
That's what I've been saying over and over, but apparently Eddie is ignoring me and doesn't bother to unignore any of my posts to see if there's anything worthwhile. Oh well, his loss.

Well it could be legit maybe Highway One and had the 2 point trem installed. I’ve converted a few 6 points to 2 points but they were MIM. I would still offer him $450.😂

Look at that bridge, that sure looks like a Squier bridge to me. US neck, but that body looks like its a little thinner and probably one of those translucent standard bodies that had the matching headstock from Squier. Not worth $650

Has the hex adjustment posts, thats Squier for sure.

Thank you. That's why you guys are the best.

I once got suckered into buying a reasonably priced MIM which turned out to have a Squier body. Pizzed me off. I should have looked closer.
