Guitar Center in Peoria, Illinois has a used Pathfinder 15r for $56. This is the older 15 watt version with reverb and tremolo. It is not online.
I agree with the above. I have a Pathfinder 10 - wanna have some fun? Hook up a line out and run it to a bigger cab! Seriously, surprising. I'd jump on the 15r if it was near me.My understanding is that is a highly coveted amp, especially for cleans. I had the smaller Pathfinder 10 with a smaller speaker, no reverb or tremolo, less power ... and I thought it was an excellent amp for my purpose (again, for cleans). I gave it away to my then stepdaughter and missed it so much I offered to trade a larger Behringer amp for it. She said no ... which she should have.
If it was in my store I'd definitely buy it ... or at least try it out.
Yeah I’ve seen some pretty crazy prices for them the last couple of years.Smart decision, they are now hard to find for under $100. You got a great deal! I have 2 of the pre-reverb models and also the sister Cambridge 15 with tube preamp, but I have to add a reverb pedal when I play them.
Great pickup - I bought mine many many years ago and haven't bothered even looking for a replacement since. The clean sound is insanely good for what they were charging even back then and $56 is an outright steal now. They don’t have it anymore. Guess who bought it?
I went back today and it was still there, so I bought it. It is the V9168r. It just came in, and due to city law they cannot release it until the 27th. I tried it out in the store though, and yeah it sounds great.
