NGD, just took it home today!

Here is an Epiphone '59 Les Paul, just got home with it. Took pics first thing and am posting it up!
Got it at Long & McQuade. I tried it out in store, and it plays great right off the wall rack.
Good pots, caps and switch, cts & switchcraft etc..
Sounds pretty sweet also, with Gibby burstbuckers. Came with a hard case too!

Thanks! Epiphone calls it a "worn or aged" finish. It's somewhere between satin and gloss. Looks better up close. Finger smudges are easy to see though. Sounds totally amazing through my Monoprice 15! Really loud also. (like, really loud).Pups are a little bit microphonic, nice bonus.
50's wiring, (something I have to get a handle on) It is not weight relieved, but not backbreaking like some LP'S. On YT reviews, it's 7.8 lbs.
Just need to put a set of .008's on it and I'm set!
I think I like it!

They are awesome. I think I am going to swap the burstbuckers in mine for a set of "double cream" '59 style PAFs though. Finish is what I would call "egg shell" - not gloss or semi gloss and definitely not matte.

Thanks to all for the replies! I think the fretboard will like a lemon oil treatment and the frets a polish. I just noticed some minor buzzing out up past the 15th fret, mainly high b and e strings. nothing to fret about though. I will look into it later.
Give it some time to settle in.
