This looks odd, assuming there is no overhang. ...
Fret Slots are probably cut Conversion.
Yes, that makes sense that #21 is same distance also on an Overhang Neck. I was only questioning about a 22 Fret Flush one on many Strats. 21st Frets would not line up unless a Conversion.🙃There clearly is an overhang to accommodate the 22nd fret, as seen between the 2 arrows.

The distance from the nut to the 21st fret, is exactly the same on both a 21 & 22 fret neck. It has to be without exception.
21 fret neck.

Never seen one. I have only seen the overhang on the 22 fret necks. You can't crowd 22 frets into the space of 21 frets without notes being out of tune. If there are flush fit necks, the neck routing would have to be cut to accommodate that....I was only questioning about a 22 Fret Flush one on many Strats. ...
Fender Mex. and USA ones are Flush 22's? Glad I don't have a Strat! 🙃Never seen one. I have only seen the overhang on the 22 fret necks. I think only the "Modern Player" (crafted/made in China) Strats have the 22 fret necks that screw up the scale if you try to swap. Would make no sense to have different body designs for the MIM necks. Here's a MIM Player Strat neck for sale on Stratosphere - clearly has the overhang.Fender Mex. and USA ones are Flush 22's?
