Woah, the last time I posted here was around the time I refinished my squier tele. That tele ran into a few weird issues unfortunately and I never ended up doing much with it, but it was a fun project off a cheap guitar.

I didn't necessarily build this tele from scratch - but it is a build from an unfinished swamp ash body. I messed up a paint job earlier, sanded all my mistakes off, and switched to staining it into sort of a cherry sunburst finish. I liked the neck (bought a Fender Mexican maple neck from reverb), but wasn't completely in love with it. Pickups are from Mateus Asato's M.A.T. series, control plate from 920D custom.

Sanded the neck a bit (sanded the body a lot) and simply just added a few coats of tru-oil to the neck. Did kind of an amateur, first time fret job to polish and sand the frets. I don't know enough about fret work but I like how it turned out.

Waiting on a nut replacement and then I'll start stringing. Just admiring the look for now. A lot.

Looks great!
What I always say "Play that thing, break it in and Love it"
I just made that up...
Enjoy your builds, that's what I always say!
